RIPSTOP (R/S) - technology of production of fabrics when a more thick and strong fibers forming a framework in the form of cells, which is included in the weave of thinner fibers. This technology allows you to improve material characteristics and tear strength, at the same time doesn't add bulk.

PU polyurethane fabric (transparent), applied to the inside to obtain properties such as water resistance. The coating may have different thicknesses. The resistance is measured as water height in millimeters at which the fabric does not get wet. Considered waterproof fabrics with waterproofness over 3000 mm (PU 3000).

PU milky polyurethane white color, with the same properties as PU.

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a dense rubberized coating applied to the inner side, which provides full water-resistant fabric. Has low heat and electrical conductivity, high fire resistance, resistance to many chemical reagents.

WR is a special water-repellent impregnation. With this treatment, water droplets will roll down the fabric and not be absorbed, which improves its water resistance.

Oxford (Oxford)

Oxford durable fabric-made fibers (nylon or polyester) certain structures are usually coated, which provides a water-resistant fabric. The fabric is water-repellent. Oxford nylon has high strength, elasticity, resistance to abrasion, repeated bending and the action of chemical reagents, characterized by a low hygroscopicity, high elektrosetremont, low thermal and light stability. Oxford 420D (180 g/m2), 600D PU (300 g/m2), 600D PVC (500 g/m2), 600D*300D PVC (530 g/m2) - bags, backpacks, suitcases, shoes.

Physical and technical characteristics

Taffeta (Cotton)

Fabric-made fibers (nylon or polyester) with application of various coatings that provide certain fabric properties. Polyester Cotton for strength and chemical resistance is slightly inferior to nylon, but is superior in thermal and light stability. The density of this fabric is caused by the value of T (Tex), E. the total number of threads per square inch in the warp and in the weft direction (in the description of the products, we use only the numeric designation). Used cover: PU, PU milky, Silver, PVC.


Used for the production of tents, bags, awnings, sleeping bags, umbrellas, flags, aprons, workwear (jacket, overalls, pants, including the insulation). Household is used as raincoat for the production of jackets, winter jackets, for the manufacture of footwear.

Density: 170Т PVC cotton - 240 g/m2; Cotton 190Т PU, SILVER, MILKY - 93 g/m2; Cotton 210Т SILVER, MILKY - 93 g/m2. PolyTaffeta 210 R/S PU (Polytaffeta)

Made of polyester (Dacron) fibers, which makes it more durable and resistant to UV exposure. The fabric is lightweight and has a water repellent and windproof properties, is reinforced with a thicker thread that creates a kind of durable mesh so that the fabric is more resistant to rupture along the grain. Fleece (Fleece)

Fleece – pile nonwoven fabric, made of flat polyester, which uses special technology of weaving of fibre and the creation of pile (pile in this case is integral with the base). Lightweight, soft, pleasant to touch knitted material. Retains heat, almost does not absorb moisture, dries quickly, does not cause allergies. Due to special processing that prevents from rolling of the pile (antipilling), products made of fleece a long time retain the original appearance. When washing, do not sit, it keeps the shape, elastic. Much stronger than natural tissue, has a high wear resistance. The application is Used as independent material for the production of children's clothing, Jogging suits, knitwear, hats, scarves, toys (density 190 g/m2; 230 g/m2; 270 g/m2), and as insulation for jackets and other outerwear (density 180 g/m2; 190 g/m2). In the production of childrens clothing is not recommended for the first (underwear) layer.

Recommendations for care

Fabric consisting of two layers of fleece that are connected by a membrane. Such a connection protects against moisture and wind thanks to the special connection of the fibers. Combines thermal insulation and breathability of fleece and petrolacosaurus membrane. Has increased strength. Has a soft pleasant surface. Polartec (Polartec)

Polycolon (the Finest)

Membrane fabric

Modern fabric with membrane coating, which prevents the penetration of wind repels the liquid from the surface, ignores the evaporation body, slows heat loss, partially provides a barrier to external temperature effects, is protected from the penetration of aggressive chemicals.

The membrane is either thin film, which is laminated (glued or welded by special technology) to the upper fabric, or a special impregnation, rigidly applied to the fabric by hot way during production. The inner side of the film or impregnation may be protected by another layer of fabric. In clothes from membrane tissue in any weather except the hottest wet, you can walk/climb without discomfort.

What is the working principle of the membranes? Some have a chemical structure as a film with a pore size of several thousand times smaller than water droplets but more of a H2O molecule. Therefore, the droplet just passes through them. This ensures waterproofness. But water vapor molecules pass through the pores freely. When you sweat (hard work) there is a difference in partial pressure of water vapor under the jacket and outside. This is the driving force for removal of vapor, which is discharged to the outside. Such membranes are called micropore (Microporous). During active hours of work because of the very good "breathing" properties, but they are truly irreplaceable.

Other type of membranes consists of a dense film without any pores, impervious to water. However, this film brings the molecules of water vapor (again, if there is a difference in partial pressure) due to the open communication of special chemical compounds. Such membranes are called hydrophilic (Hydrophilic). If you need a long time to work under prolonged rain or snow, they will not disappoint.

Both types of membranes has its advantages and disadvantages. Micropore "breathe" better hydrophilic. Hydrophilic stretch better and not get dirty, as it does not have pores. To micropore membrane longer served, it is necessary to wash clothes with special detergents ("Nikwax", etc.). In clothing, uses this type of membranes, the top layer of the fabric by itself should have good water-repellent properties. This is because if the upper fabric is highly wet, the membrane will pass water (due to the fact that the inside of the upper fibres of the material are much weaker forces of surface tension and drops of water as such is not formed). Therefore, it is necessary to restore water repellency fabric with a special impregnation. In addition, no membrane will not "breathe", if on the surface there is a continuous water film or layer of ice. Therefore, restoring water-repellent upper material, it is important for all types of membrane materials.

It should be noted that in garments made from membrane fabrics you will feel comfortable only if used in conjunction with other materials with similar properties. That is, if you wear a cotton shirt, wool sweater, jacket and top made of a membrane fabric, then the work will still be wet. In this case, the most acceptable combination of clothes is: underwear + jacket from material Polartec, Windbloc, Windstopper, Outlast + membrane the jacket.

Recommendations for care

Products should be stored in the expanded form, in a dry, preferably ventilated area, keep away from moisture. Recommended handwash (without soaking) in warm water up to 30°C, using a special shampoo. If not - the usual shampoo, liquid soap. The powder can ruin the membrane. Not be machine washing and chemical cleaning, as this may cause product damage, delamination and deformation of the membrane. After washing, the product should be well wrung out by hand, using Blagovarski material, but not twisting the product. Must be dried flat at room temperature.

Pertex Classic (classic Pertex)

Dewspo (Dyuspo)

Dewspo soft, lightweight, windproof material made of synthetic fibers (polyester). Undemanding to wash, dries quickly, has good air conditioning properties. Protection from moisture creates a special water-repellent coating. Used cover: PUMilky WR 450.

Application: in the garment industry.

Cordura (Cordura)

Cordura is a range of modern, high-tech fabrics representing the original structure of woven nylon threads of different thicknesses. Has double the resistance to friction and has a high resistance to different mechanical loads. To obtain the greatest strength of the fabric can be reinforced (RIPSTOP). Used cover: PU, PU 70 PU 450, WR.

Neoprene (Neoprene)

Foamed polymer with closed, filled with air cells, made in the form of cloth.
