This standard applies to tourist tents, intended for temporary accommodation of tourists on hikes and on vacation.

the Standard does not apply to special purpose tents (for expeditions, climbing, tents, toilets, tents-pavilions, etc.).

Requirements of paragraphs 2.1, 2.2.10, 2.2.11, 2.2.13, 2.2.16, 2.2.18, 2.2.19, 2.2.20, 2.2.23, 2.3.2 and sections 1,3,4,5,6 are required, the other requirements of this standard are recommended.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. shall be made in accordance with the requirements of this standard, technical descriptions and samples, the standards - approved in the prescribed manner.

2.2. Features

2.2.1. Tents are divided:

capacity - single and multi;

type - "the tabernacle", "house" (Annex 2);

shape - a cube, prism, cone, prism, cone, hemisphere, half cylinder, pyramid, etc. (Annex 3);

design - with a frame (including inflatable) and without frame (Annex 4).

2.2.2. Tents should consist of: roof, front and rear walls (except tents shape of a cone and hemisphere), the entrance and tent accessories to install it.

2.2.3. Input (input panel) should be closed using a zipper or a tube clasp.

2.2.8. Between the walls and the awning should be an air gap not less than 80 mm.

2.2.15. Plastic frames, stands and fittings must be free from sharp edges, chipping and warping.

2.2.16. The metal parts of the tent should be protected against corrosion. The quality of the coating according to GOST 9.301.

2.2.17. In the biggest load (under the rack, in the place of installation of eyelets, etc.) must be of the gusset plate.

2.2.18. Tents must have a loop or other design details for frame fixing, stretch marks, for securing tents to the ground to ensure proper installation and tension tents.

2.2.23. must be resistant to rain.

2.2.24. Covers for tents must be with handles or with shoulder straps.

2.3. Requirements for the construction

2.3.1. The connection of the main parts of tents and covers must be seams: overhead, nastroni with open and closed sections (at the edge), suposivly, "castle", double.

2.3.8. The offset of the symmetric parts of the fittings should not be over 10 mm.

2.4. Materials requirements

2.4.1. For the manufacture of tents used the following materials:

for awning, roof, walls, floor, pockets, covers, etc. - fabric with water repellent finish (cotton, synthetic and blended), fabrics with film coating, and combinations thereof;

for a sleeping space (for tents with awning) breathable fabric (cotton, synthetic and mixed);

for the floor - fabric with a water repellent finish, rubberized, coated (cotton, synthetic, mixed);

for Windows, ventilation openings and the input of panels of wire mesh of synthetic fabric, transparencies;

for stretch - cords and tapes (cotton and synthetic) ;

for gusset lining - leather artificial and natural, ribbon and cotton and synthetic fabric with a water repellent finish, fabric with film coating;

for the frame, racks, tensioning device, support tubes, legs etc. - lightweight metal and plastic materials;

for the pegs and studs - metallic and plastic materials.

2.4.2. A list of the main materials used for making tents are given in Annex 5.

2.5. Completeness

frame, a set of tent accessories;

3. ACCEPTANCE

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. The appearance of the tents is determined by comparison with a sample pattern.

5. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

6. MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY

6.1. The manufacturer guarantees the conformity of the tents to the requirements of this standard subject to the conditions of operation, transportation and storage.

6.2. The warranty period tents - 12 months. from the date of sale through retail trade network.

Appendix 6

1. Scope and field of application

This international standard specifies the major dimensions and performance characteristics of the tents, tents with one pole of interest for tourists.

note. Requirements for tissue, will be included in another international standard that will be developed in the future.

This international standard refers to the tourist tents type (regular tents without any additional requirements in relation to weight).

the Standard does not apply:

tourist tents-type L (lightweight tents, such as tourist tent with a limited weight per person, corresponding to ISO 5913);

travel to the tents of type S (seasonal tents, such as tent a rigid structure for the permanent use);

to the tents for special purposes, such as for mountain tourism, designed for technical equipment, tents for expeditions, tents, toilets, tents for groups, etcD.

2. Other standards

ISO 7152. Travel tents. Definition.

3. Definition

In this international standard has the following terms and definitions included in the ISO 7152.

3.1. Minimum installation space. The total area required for installation on earth, with regard to stretch marks.

4. Requirements

4.1.Sizes

4.1.1. The dimensions of the tent

4.1.2. The slope

4.3. Deck support

4.6. Flap for Windows

Window valve must overlap the window on all sides not less than 10 cm. In the case of the use of zip fasteners this overlap may be less. Edge of the valve should have fasteners at intervals not more than 40 cm.

4 7. Vents

In tent necessary to provide effective ventilation openings.

4.8. Metal parts

4.10. Socket

5. Test

5.1. Resistance to corrosion
