    CHAP.
    GENERAL PROVISIONS.

    1. All military personnel, consisting in the ranks of the Naval Forces of the Union SSR and wearing naval uniforms, have to wear it under these terms.
    2. The right to wear uniforms are:
    a) all soldiers on active naval service;
    b) admirals, generals and officers of the Naval Forces, enrolled in the reserve or retired with the right to wear uniform;
    C) call for the passage of ordinary and extraordinary fees military service Naval Forces — in the passing fees.
    3. Officers (sergeants) and seamen of Naval Forces, retired or not from the service, are entitled to continue wearing items of uniform, but without insignia, emblems, ribbons for caps, uniform buttons and buckles to waist belts that need to be removed on the day of registration dismissed in a military Commissariat in a residence.
    4. All items of uniform and equipment must correspond to their descriptions and drawings to be neatly fitted and always be in good and tidy condition.

    CHAP.
    TYPES of NAVAL uniform AND ITS APPLICATION.

    8. Naval attire varies by season and by appointment.
    9. In time, clothing is divided into summer and winter.
    10. The period of wearing summer uniform is set by the commanders of fleets and flotillas, the commanders of naval bases, senior marine commanders (commanders of the garrisons) due to climatic conditions voyage of a ship or home.

    b) during the descent of ships on the water, while lifting the naval flag (with entry of the ship into operation);
    g) in presenting banners, guards order naval flags and awards the ship, part.

    e) when taking the military oath;
    g) on the official anniversaries, gala evenings, in the revolutionary days, government, military holidays and holidays of the ships (parts).
    Casual attire is worn for building:
    a) in the performance of duties in the service of the ship dresses and outfits for internal, garrison and guard service, in addition to stay in the honor guard when supposed to be in dress uniform;
    b) on the combat training and tactical exercises in the field as directed by the commander of the ship (parts);

    b) training sessions;

    d) service class at headquarters, and institutions;

    CHAPTER III.
    ABOUT WEARING ITEMS of NAVAL uniform.

    ABOUT the HATS.

    ABOUT outerwear.

    ABOUT the WEARING of SHOES AND GLOVES.

    37. When wearing uniforms soldiers wear boots (shoes) only in black or white.

    39. Gloves are worn in the following cases:
    — when wearing parade uniform clothing;
    — when wearing casual attire for building as directed by the command.
    In other cases, gloves are worn at will, while white gloves are worn:
    — dress clothing.
    — when everyday attire, when wearing the white tunic;
    — in some cases — by special order of command.
    for other forms of clothing worn woolen gloves, cotton, leather or black steel color. In service all staff should be wearing gloves of the same color.

    CHAPTER IV.
    WEARING SPORTS CLOTHES AND CIVILIAN DRESS.

    40. Sports clothing and shoes on vehicles and parts permitted to be worn in the time period allotted for sports activities and competitions, only participating in them.
    Wearing panties on ships in the summer is permitted at any time of the day all personnel during the time allotted for bathing and washing clothes, as well as the senior signal at anchor (flagship), and in a separate swimming with the permission of the commander of the ship.
    41. The wearing of civilian dress is authorized:
    admirals, generals, officers and sergeants (the sergeants) of extended service in the spare time and only out of the ship (parts).

    48. Cloth shoulder straps with sewn along them from the individual-specific pattern of gilt or silver wire.

    58. The order of the stripes on the shoulder straps as follows:

    b) chief petty officers (senior sergeants) — across the ring at a distance of 40 mm from the upper angle of the shoulder strap to the top edge of the stripe;
    b) the senior sailors, petty officers 1 and 2 of article (Junior sergeants, sergeants) —across the ring at a distance of 40mm from the top of the shoulder strap to the top edge of the first stripe. Subsequent stripes are positioned below the first with gaps between them of 2 mm.
    59. On pogonyah senior sailors, petty officers 1 and 2 of article (sergeants and Junior sergeants) stripes are parallel to the bottom edge of paganica at a distance of 8 mm from it to the bottom of the first stripe. Subsequent stripes are located above the first with gaps between them of 2 mm.
    60.     61. The letters are made up so that the line on which they are located, are distanced from the bottom edge of a ring 20 mm from the bottom of paganica 5 mm. Height of letters — 40 mm.
    62. Shoulder straps are troops who wear the uniform prescribed for enlisted members, the lower ends sewed into the shoulder seams of the sleeves of coats and jackets. The upper ends of the shoulder straps are fastened by a button sewn at the collar.
    63. The shoulder straps and pogonici cadets and pupils of naval schools on color and material are the same as those of ordinary structure. On the shoulder straps and pogonyah all cadets are superimposed metallic anchor special pattern. The dimensions of the anchors on the longitudinal centerline: on the shoulder straps — 60 mm, pogonyah — 43 mm.
    Anchors are located at the centerline, shoulder straps and polonikov in the distance: on the shoulder straps — 10 mm, on pogonyah — 3.5 mm from the bottom edge.

    70. Shoulder sleeve insignia are a gold color braid.
    Accordingly promoted to the rank of the number of braids is installed:
    — fleet Admiral — one wide and four high;
    — Admiral — one wide and three medium;
    — Vice Admiral — one wide and two medium;
    — rear Admiral — one wide and one medium;
    — the captain of 1 rank — one wide;
    — captain 2 rank — four average;
    — captain rank 3 — three medium;
    — captain-Lieutenant — two medium and one narrow;

    71. The only braid sewed on the jacket and dark blue tunics (except cotton) on the outer side of both sleeves, parallel to their lower edges with a length of 80 mm (length braids on the jacket front 100 mm).

Stars sewed the edge up to a distance of 30 mm from the top edge of the lace to the center of the star.
    73. Shoulder sleeve insignia — braid sewed directly on sleeves or on a rectangular valves, made of the same material as that of the subject uniform; the valves in turn are sewn to the sleeves. Valve width — 80 mm, on the front jacket— 100 mm.

    the SLEEVE CHEVRONS FOR LONG SERVICE.

    74. For foremen, sergeants and sailors of extended service set sleeve chevrons representing the gold braid of gold color, curved at an angle of 80°. The sleeve chevrons sewed on the left sleeve of coats, jackets, tunics, jackets, flannel shirts, and shaped corners down, above elbow in a distance of 30 mm from it to the corner of the Chevron, the other up from the first, parallel to it, with gaps of 5 mm between the chevrons on the perpendicular line.
    75. Chevrons sewed on the flaps of material color of uniforms, which in turn are sewn to the sleeve, as described above. The number of chevrons is determined: for 15 years long service and above — three; for 10 years long service and above — two; for 5 years long service and above — one.
    Width galunov chevrons of 13 mm, the distance between the ends of the chevrons (in solution) — 80 mm. The length of the sides of the chevrons is 60 mm.

    SHOULDER sleeve INSIGNIA ON SPECIALTIES (STATES).

    76. Differences for foremen, sergeants and sailors in specialties feature a special shoulder patch insignia (States), worn on the left sleeve of coats, jackets, tunics, jackets, flannel shirts. The sleeve signs nailed above the elbow bend in a distance of 30 mm from it, and when wearing sleeve chevrons for long service — above them.

    79. Shoulder patch insignia of a course —the squares represent the gold braid (silver) color, curved in the middle at an angle of 125°, sewn on the left sleeve of coats, jackets, flannel shirts and uniform cadets and pupils of naval schools.
    80. Angle nailed the angle below, above an elbow bend, in distance of 30 mm from it to the corner of the first square, the other up from the first, parallel with gaps between the braid on the perpendicular line 5 mm. The width of the braids — for students of basic schools—13 mm (for pupils of Nakhimov schools -6 mm). The length of the sides of a square 30 mm.

    SHOULDER sleeve INSIGNIA of the NUMBER of WOUNDS.

    87. The sign is a rectangle of fabric colors for uniforms, which is stitched from horizontal strips of silk braid with a width of 5 mm and length 43 mm.
    Every wound sewed is indicated by the rectangle strip:
    — when a serious injury is of Golden color.
    — light wound — dark red.
    Strip sewed from the bottom up in the order received wounds. The length of the rectangle corresponds to the length of the lines, but its width depends on the number of the latter. The gaps between the strips is 3 mm.
    Badge worn on the right sleeve of the top items of naval uniform in a distance of 10 cm from the shoulder seam to the bottom strip, and the strips are arranged laterally of the sleeve. On the subjects of work and inventory of uniforms issued for short-term temporary use, the sign of the number of wounds is not worn.
    note. On the all-army uniform of the sign of the number of wounds is worn, as determined for the Soviet Army.

    CHAPTER VI.
    the INSIGNIA ON the HATS SEWING ON CAPS AND the COLLARS of the JACKET FRONT.

    88. The emblem consists of a metal gilt (silver) anchor, twisted rope, superimposed on a convex cushion of black velvet, bordered with a double ribbed metal edging the same color as the anchor; metal five-pointed star with rays covered with ruby-red enamel and white circle in the middle, which depicts the crossed hammer and sickle gold color; the wreath of ears, embroidered with gold thread (silver) color at the bottom and tied ribbon on the edges with red edging.
    89. The emblem mounted on black cloth so that the wreath framed the pillow with the anchor, adhering tightly to their inner edges to the outer edge of its rim, and the upper ends of the ears that ran in the star, against its centre, is placed over the eye of the anchor and lying the two lower rays at the edge of the rim pads.
    Fixed size of the emblem:
    the height of the anchor with the rope is 22 mm;
    the distance between the ends of the toes of legs of an anchor— 15 mm;
    outer diameter of the rim is 23 mm;

    90. On the band front cap Admiral of the fleet is placed the emblem established for officers, with the addition on either side by two oak leaf gold tinsel (the contours of the oak leaves and veins — with sparkles). The total length of the sewing— 140mm (Fig. 238).
    91. On the band front cap admirals and generals placed the emblem established for officers, with the addition on both sides with two oak leaf gold (silver) GIMP, veins of oak leaves with sequins, length of sewing 110 mm (Fig. 239-240), the band is worn everyday ordinary cap emblem set for officers.

    92. The emblem has ellipsoidal form and consists of the anchor with the rope binding him and a five-pointed metal stars, set pattern, attached at the top of the emblem.
    Anchor and edging on the ellipse are embroidered with gold coloured thread on black cloth. The emblem can be manufactured and metal — pressed.
    Fixed size of the emblem:
    the length of the major axis of the ellipse is 45 mm;
    the length of the minor axis of the ellipse is 39 mm;
    the width of the border to 4 mm;
    the height of the anchor from the top of the eye to the heel — 28 mm;

    93. The emblem is a metal five-pointed star covered with ruby-red enamel, with the image of crossed hammer and sickle in the middle (Fig. 244).

    94. Guards tape (Fig. 248) is a silk ribbon lacings Golden-orange color coated with her three longitudinal black stripes.
    tape Width—32,5 mm, length—1520 mm. The width of black bars — 6 mm, the width of the gaps between them orange — 6.25 mm, the width of the edging — 1 mm.
    Guards tape is laid on the cap band of his cap foremen, sergeants and sailors of conscription service of the guards ships and units and is fixed at a rear seam, and the ends of the tape remain free.
    To guard the ribbons in place, falling in front of his cap-his cap, gold embossing impose an appropriate inscription, and on the free ends — anchors.

Sewing on the visor of his cap Navy Admiral is an image of two oak branches with leaves and cord, embroidered along the contour of the canopy cantle gold color so that the bottom edge of the cord was held at a distance of 5 mm from the outer edge of the canopy, the lower leaves of the branches at a distance of 2 mm from the top of the cord, and the ends of the branches would converge at the transverse middle line of the visor, creating a gap of 5 mm.
